ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work

MY BACKGROUND
Hali is a dynamic, young leader with an extensive 8+ years of work experience in public service, non-profit work, and community engagement. Born and raised in Edmonton by strong parents who instilled in her values of seva—selfless service, integrity, and compassion. These principles have guided her every step of the way, fueling her commitment to serve her community, and now, the residents of Ward Karhiio. Her previous roles have ranged from a Supervisory Page at the Alberta Legislature and Parliamentary Assistant in the House of Commons to holding Head of Communications positions in the nuanced world of non-profit and grassroots work where she used digital communication, marketing, and event planning to help organizations achieve their outreach goals.
Additionally, for the last 10+ years she has served the greater Edmonton community through various volunteer positions with organizations such as the Stollery, Alberta Mentorship Program, Whitemud Equine Centre, World Sikh Organization, and Khalsa Aid, to name a few.
MY VISION FOR THE COMMUNITY
Now, as a part of the PACE team, Hali is driven to bring collaborative, accountable governance to Ward Karhiio. She is committed to advocating for sustainable development, value for taxes, safety and security, local businesses and a City Council rooted in transparency and one that listens to it's constituents.
